Small Axe Cooperative opened in summer 2023, and is a cooperative of lawyers doing a variety of work, from cooperatives to criminal justice to land retention.
Their mission is:
Provide: for clients, dignified legal representation/agency that effectively affirms their personhood and value.
For staff, a dignified environment for supporting the above in line with their talents and passions, affirming their own personhood and worth, and the above for all involved according to shared values that once again affirm participants in their curation and application.
