Madison has a vibrant cooperative ecosystem.
We work with the Madison Cooperative Development Coalition (MCDC) which is a non-profit initiative formed to manage the city funding set aside for worker cooperative development. Their focus is on using worker cooperatives to reduce economic and racial disparities in our community.
The UW Center for Cooperatives (UWCC) is another great local ally. They focus on all types of cooperatives, statewide, as well as conducting research.
